i've just realised shane won a bafta how bankable does that make him he should have people falling over themselves to give him finance how exciting does that make the prospect of king of the gypsies i swear to god i'm hard right now megaday

Well done Shane and everyone involved. Im so happy today City beat United at the swamp for the first time in 30+ years and TIE wins best british film at the BAFTAs FUCKING BRILLIANT!!!!
The reaction from the audience for TIE was amazing!!!

They showed the great scene in the shoe shop with Tommo and Jo. Absolutely fantastic. So pleased for everyone involved.

your right comp, biggest cheer in the catagory by far, when the cameras picked shane out i started to get hopeful, everyone i read or saw recently in the media, never mentioned TIE they all seemed to think atonement would win best british to make way for no country for old men or there will be blood to win best pic well screw them TIE romps to glory woohoo

There wasnt a single doubt in my mind that this would be the outcome. Shane (and everybody involved), you deserve it. Congrats to good old 'sidine aswell! Not seen 'dog' yet but its bound to blow me away.

Gotta add well done to Paddy to for Dog Altogether! I cant believe this award got cut along with the cinematography award for No Country For Old Men.
