Someone has just commented on YouTube about the 3 minute promo video and have spotted something I'm surprised nobody has noticed until now....
... They've all got modern beer cans in the video, with the modern ring-pulls.
1986 was the era of the fully removable ring-pull of course (they made great miniature, spring-loaded, ring-flinging weaponry).

Never noticed that. I remember old ring pulls though. I used to wear them on my fingers like rubbish rings before throwing them away.

Alright strangers! I've not been on here in ages, the TIE '86 hooplah has pulled me back in. I hope you're all well. I'm going to That London on Wednesday for the screening, so I'll hopefully see some of you there. I meant to buy tickets for the second row (me eyes are shit), but like a div, I was looking at the seating plan the wrong way round and bought tickets for the second-from-back row.
Is there anyone keeping track of all the press coverage this time round? I remember a while back, either for LeDonk or TIE, we had a bloody treasure trove of all the media appearances and interviews and articles and that.

I'm sure I read that there was a piece in the Times today, but there wasn't that I could see. Must have been yesterday? No idea...
Most "articles" just seem to be a rehash of earlier articles and interviews for now.

It was in the Sunday Times, kelpie. I saw mention of it on that Facebook fan page and went looking for it, it showed up in a search of The Times' website but you need paid subscriptions to read anything on there so I couldn't get to the article.
