But what happened to pukey from the film, he was a part of the gang then and i cant remember a time where his whereabouts was explained. I dont feel the series suffered from his loss as it was amazing, but at first i thought that the new group member who was a bully from the movie was pukey. Jack O'Connell was shooting something else so wasn't available for TIE86. I think it's plausible that one or two of the gang would have moved away over the three years in between the film and series.

I'm gonna throw the cat amongst the pidgeons now, seeing as this is an anti-Banjo thread... Which of Combos victims deserves the most pity? Milky who could see what was coming and could have defended himself but instead actively goaded and smirked at Combo. Or Banjo who was twatted out of the blue with a bottle? To be honest after watching TiE '86 I think Milky's a sneaky 2-faced cunt! Fair comment, I didn't like how Milky shagged his best mates bird several times and then was so pally pally with Woody.

Milky is a dick for doing what he did. Although giving what Banjo said at the time of the attack I'd still have more pity for Milky.
Does anyone else (or is it just me; and my own feeling; no point really in the movie or show is there proof of it) feel that Banjo and Meggy are more then friends?

I was glad Milky chose friendship over a destructive affair, but I have had the feeling that he almost managed to subtly shift the burden of guilt onto Lol, in a way. Just in the way he talked about it with her.
He still never deserved a beating though. He's essentially a good man.

As I said there was no one specific scene that you could say "Oh that's it" but during some of their shared scenes it just seemed as though they were more like a married couple then mates.

I doubt they are more than friends, they've just gravitated towards each other because they're the oldest in the group. Although the both of them and Gadget all sleeping together with no clothes on in the last episode made me laugh.

....You mean because they don't really fit in like? In the end this was my only real gripe castwise. I would've thought it more real had Meggy just been there in one scene, the pub or something. And say Banjo made a fleeting appearance in prison - a sly grin as Combo enters and he walks past him or something more subtle like that would've been good. Maybe.

i get the feeling that shane offered all the 'gang' back from TIE... could be wrong though as Kes wasn't part of it, unless the lad playing him was busy too?
