Absolutely loved TIE90. Steven Graham and Andrew Shim were superb last night. I was slightly confused in the warehouse (perhaps thinking too much into it) but who were the two white men that Milky's family handed Combo over too? I just assumed the family were going to give him a major hiding but they hand him over to those two white guys and Combo shouts "I don't want to die?" possibly as if he knows the two men and what they are capable of? It was chilling that scene. Just a couple of hired killers I think. Combo realised when he was handed over that this wasn't just going to be a beating from Milky's family

Also the Neighbours episode that Harvey was watching was an anachronism as the credits listed the characters Dorothy Burke and Josh Anderson as appearing when episodes featuring them weren't screened in the UK until way in to 1991. Shane if you're reading and need any Neighbours continuity research in any future projects I'm your man.

Just finished 90 and I'm so happy with it all and how it all ended, I think anyone dissatisfied with that last episode is forgetting how they felt at the end of the original film and just what we've all been through with these characters!
Me and my girlfriend have just moved to Manchester and had no broadband/TV until today so watched 86 on DVD last night to catch her up. (We watched 88 a bit back)
I've got to say I totally take back what I said about the earlier episodes of 86 and the lighter moments now, Tom Harper did an amazing job considering what a task that was, also there's been a few people chatting on Facebook saying they don't like Flick and those light bits etc. but looking at the thing as a whole now those elements are vital, what would it be without the lighter bits!
So much time has passed since I first watched the film, I can't even believe how much time! I can't believe how long ago it was when I watched 86 and where I was in my life, I was 20/21 when the film came out and now I'm almost 30.
I know how I feel this all coming to an end but I can't even comprehend what it must have meant for the cast, Shane, Mark and everyone involved! and all I can say is thank you, because there will never be another piece of work again in my lifetime that grew up alongside me, I watched those characters come of age and mature as I did and I'm happy to say like Lol and Woody I'm in a much better place now. Thanks for creating and then looking after something that means a lot to me.

Combo realised when he was handed over that this wasn't just going to be a beating from Milky's family I thought they might of been his old national front lot or something, don't know enough about it but thought it might have been a blood in blood out thing and Milky's uncle and that were just delivering him to them. There was a lot of national front stock footage etc. so that's what made me think,

One of the blokes Combo was handed over to looks uncannily like one of the blokes at the NF meeting, the same bloke can be seen on TiE 86 ep4 watching the England match. I think I've seen the bearded henchman before as well, but perhaps not on the TiE series.

Back to being a forum nerd!! - Just watched it all again, there's a flash of something as the door closes on Combo, can't imagine a still frame of that would be very revealing but who knows!?

Looks like a length of rope, perhaps they hang Combo to make it look like suicide... I doubt it as his body was never found. I believe he is dead and knew when he saw the two guys he was going to his death; if it was just a beating surely the guys in the van could have done so. Another great thing is if in 5 or 10 years Shane does decide to visit the characters again it could be that they beat Combo to an inch of his life; told him to leave and never return otherwise he would be killed on sight? Still love the scene with them both over the cup of tea and read on instagram that there was no script for it; they both made it up as they went.

Yes, Andrew Shim tweeted that the scene was entirely improvised. That scene was the stand out for me in the whole episode, and as I said in my previous post, that was the scene that stayed with me after the episode had finished and had me thinking about it all day on Monday

It really is a standout scene in a series full of great stuff; Milkys face as Combo was led away was haunting.

Also loved the wedding and seeing Meggy and Banjo there was a great surprise Banjo wasn't there, I'm sure of it. Absent from the whole 90 series, which was a little strange. Also maybe not officially but at a Q&A the producer explained Meggy's disappearance from the last two series that he'd died on the toilet between the years, so it was odd seeing him back at the end. Spotted the character called Kes at the wedding too, who'd only been in the original film.

Yep; Banjo was there as we can see from screen shot; Meggy though; anyone else get a Sixth Sense vibe in scenes he was in?

Fantastic work everyone. Well done. Loved everything about it. Amazing performances all round, superb directing as always. Loved every moment Smell was on screen and the wardrobe excelled for her character, nice one Rosamund. x

Thanks a lot job! It's taken me ages to watch the last episode of This Is England 90.... I mean, I had to wait until I had time to watch it properly and not try and cram a viewing inin a rush!
Loved how it all wrapped up, and there were phenomenal elements throughout. Stephen Graham and Andrew Shim absolutely amazing. Andrew's greatest performance ever in episodes 3 and 4!
Loved that Milky talks to Combo about 'deals being made' around his hospital bed amongst his family members (regarding retribution for what Combo did) when his familiy didn't know if he was going to make it or not. Like despite his obvious regrets at seeing Combo's surprisingly genuine reform, I don't think Milky could have stopped it, the decision was not his to finalise as it was a decision that his family had already decided to act out if they got the opportunity.
Oh, and when Combo is enduring his final journey in the van, it was interesting to see different takes from This Is England used. Little clips that were not used in the film but from the Milky beating scene.
