There should have been only one. That's far and away the most common headline used in articles about Highlander. It crops up every time a new sequel is announced or released. And with good reason, really.
Anyone fancy doing a Highlander rock opera?

Must admit there isn't a great deal I cannot wait for really.
This is England is definitely the one I'm most looking forward too.
I did get off my arse to go and watch the Departed at the cinny, first time I've had the urge in a while and wasn't disappointed!
Other than that, not a great deal has caught my eye.
That Pans Labyrinth looks rather odd though.
On the small screen, I went into Blockbuster to rent a few films t'other day and was surprised to see they only had one copy of Ken Loach's latest film The Wind that Shakes the Barley (which was out). Nowt else really interested me, the ice harvest looked okay and I nearly (nearly) plumed for Evilenko with Malcolm Mcdowell but I reckon it would've been a piss poor one.

That film "Ghosts" looks really good from the trailer. It's about the Chinese cockle pickers that died in Morecombe Bay a year (or was it 2) ago.
Also, there's a 3 hour(ish) documentary which follows the daily lives of monks. It's called "Into Great Silence". Looks like it could be good in a "Koyannisqatsi" kind of way.

[\quote] It's directed by the documentarian Nick Broomfield - he's done some really interesting stuff and I for one am really looking forward to seeing GHOSTS.

Haha, neither mate.
Its nothing big, it will be shown at short film festivals/competitions/screenings all over, and hopefully a lot of schools from the east midlands will be watching it (not the short film i mentioned about thats going to be shown in all schools across the country).
Other than that, though it was made in a very professional manner (the crew all have much expierience and many regulaly work on Skyone's Dreamteam, it features cast from 'the office', 'eastenders' and stars many aspiring young actors from nottingham).. ..Its also just for fun!
I did it to help out my friend Tim Smith ('Dream Team', 'Teachers') whos venturing into becomming a producer.

Hey Kezz ask your mate to make some dvd's of it (that poster would make a good cover) you cant have one of the cast in TIE in a lead role and not make it available for those that want to see it!
Hmm do you reckon we'll get to see it anyway?

Is that you in the poster Kezz? I like it... Yes. Hmm do you reckon we'll get to see it anyway? Yes. If anything I'l post the links to all the short films I'm working on in the film making section on the forum. (though am I allowed to do that? As I'm not actually the film-maker)
