Very exciting news! I know, but one of the last times I posted a link, you spoiler alerted it, so I thought just to be on the safe side I'd mention it. ;D Now I'm very excited about it!

I've been watching Line of Duty and I have been really enjoying it. Normally with dramas like this I tend to get a bit bored around the middle set of episodes, but next week is the last episode of the series and I have to say I've always been left feeling like I can't wait to see the next episode! I think the characters are good as well, as there's not one side to each character and the acting is very good too! I can't wait for next week's episode! Obviously, it's just my opinion - let me know what you think if you're going to watch it

Hey there, When I first watched the penultimate scene (and This is England in general) between Combo and Milky, I was 15. I remember watching it and feeling numb. I was in more of a state of shock than anything else, I suppose. I had no idea, at the time (maybe because I was unfamiliar with Shane’s films at the time), that the film was about to take the turn it did. I sobbed and cried and was in a complete state of shock, I was quite young I suppose and to see that had a huge impact on me. I do, however, think I was mature enough to deal with the subject matter and so I think I ‘coped’ quite well. I think I felt so close to the characters and this is why I reacted the way I did, because I really felt for them. Does that make sense? Hope this helps! Zoe

Oh my God, here's mine! Thoughtful to the extreme, you are often obsessed with perfection and the rules governing your own personal interests. Your world is black and white. You love to work within a logical system, such as language, computer programming, or mathematics. Manipulating a system that can be completely understood is a distinct pleasure to you, because of your confidence in the underlying veracity of your belief system. Because of your appreciation for logic and order, those who speak or think in a sloppy manner are apt to generate more than their share of wrath. Although very amiable, you are not drawn to friendships out of a sense of personal need. You are just as happy by yourself with a good book or puzzle. Because you are so involved with thought, you will on occasion have difficulty dealing with the day-to-day problems of a normal life. Taking out the trash, doing the dishes, these are often left until the last possible moment, if at all. I give it 8/10 for accuracy!!!

Here goes, here's my thoughts.... Well what can I say that hasn’t already been said? These past 3 episodes have sent me on an emotional rollercoaster: sobbing my little heart out one minute, crying with laughter the next (the scene with Lol and Woody at the end of last night’s episode is a prime example of that “how dangerous are you out of 10?”). The series as a whole has been pretty brutal and I was certainly put through the paces. The scene when Lol was having her stomach pumped with the whole montage affected me greatly. More so than I was expecting to be honest, it was just so brutal, yet compellingly and strangely beautiful and so brilliantly acted. And the fight between Milky and Woody…I believed it. I believed everything about that scene. And Johnny Harris: that man doesn’t have to say anything and he scares the hell out of me. I remember being really scared for Lol in the first episode when she was in the bath and she saw him – then I remembered he was actually dead. The scene between Lol and Combo felt so real; I did feel a little teary and loved the reference to the film. I enjoyed (is that even appropriate) TIE88 and I’m pretty sure it’s safe to say it will stay with me for a long time! Thank you to the This is England 88 cast and crew for producing such a masterpiece, again.

I haven’t been on here in a while, I’ve been checking the forum regularly and the front page too in the build up to This is England 88 tonight, but I haven’t posted in a while. So here goes…not really any spoilers as such but I am so excited to see it tonight and over the next few evenings. Can’t wait to see how the story’s developed. I have been reading a lot of the spoilers and interviews and things and I can’t wait to see the characters and how they’ve dealt with the events that took place in 86. I think it’s safe to say I am very excited. I’m expecting (or should that be bracing myself for) big things and let’s face it, we know we’ll get it. This is Shane Meadows after all! ;D

Hi, From This is England ’86, I am pretty sure that Katherine Dow Blyton was in some of the energy savings ads too. I’m pretty sure the husband (Will Travis) was in the same adverts as well and I think he was Mr Squires? Correct me if I’m wrong Zoe

Heya, welcome to the forum I assume this is what Woody is referring too. Apparently this is what a Yeti is: an abominable snowman: a large hairy humanoid creature said to live in the Himalayas...mind you, I don't think anyone's actually seen one! I presume he means that because he's had his haircut, he'll be covered in hair...and a Yeti's hairy

Did anyone see him in New Tricks, last night? I tweeted him last night about New Tricks and I got a message. I was really overwhelmed. What a lovely man! I was truly honoured...I sound really sad! I replied and told him that I was honoured by the message, because I regard him highly as an actor; with so much respect. Or words to that effect as you only get 140 characters to write it in
