I'd certainly look forward to a film that had Jo Hartley and Vicky McLure as the main actors. Not necessarily a female buddy thing a la Career Girls or Hollywood stuff like Thelma and Louise though!
A more female-centric film would be a good move. Obviously it doesn't have to be 2 hours of sewing, washing up and cooing at kittens, even though I know that's the reality.

Make them all. Just don't sleep for a couple of years and get them all in the can. We deserve it. Voted for the "Elephant Man/Harry Potter" one myself, just because I can imagine you pitching that to some bigshot studio exec.
