I have just posted a link to the final press release for the Shane Meadows edition of The South Bank Show on the front page. Despite being only a short page of text, it reveals some tantalising info about the programme! The press release lists the broadcast date for the programme as Sunday the 29th April. The ITV website has been amended and now lists the same date. Most exciting aspects of the programme? Well, the press release says it features contributions from Bob Hoskins and Ken Loach! Can't wait. Oh... it also features Shane too as far as I am aware.  |

Thats great news some recognition from the Southbank show will do Shanes career loads of positive feedback. I still cannot believe so many people havent come across Shane he must be like a cult hero, but you show them one of his films and they quickly become a fan and want to see more. I think on the back of DMS and people now getting to interested in TIE Shane is gonna be a very famous face by mid 2007 and producers are gonna be fighting to work with him.

anyone know if the south bank show will contain any TIE spoilers? Hmmm... I have watched it.. although it was an early version, and I don't recall any spoilers. Spoilers are usually something I remember too. Don't take that as a guarantee though! |
