The shot of you being left there while the car drived off in the background is my favourite shot in the film mate.
With that said the film is full of great shots/scenes. That one really sticks out in my mind for some reason though.

I really liked the scene where Combo, Tommo etc are standing outside the church in the dark, but the writing on the church is lit up, I don't know if this was an after effect or they were actual lights?

Thanks for the compliments you lot !!! I have to say, it wasnt an easy scene to shoot, both mentally and emotionally. Me, steven and shane put a lot of work in to mine and stevens last scene, so it means a lot to know you lot enjoyed it and have thought so much about it.... Shimy

Just wondering, is this first film to ever feature Roland Rat?
I was just challenging myself to recall as many images from the opening sequence of TIE as possible (not including the many Falklands clips).... didn't get very far. haha No-one can forget that Roland Rat is the first person heard, and seen in the film... errr... Night Rider, Rubik's Cube solving, Charles and Di wedding..... errrr.... this is worse than the generation game....

Theres one shot of a guy being carried and one of his legs are hangin off - quite disturbing, especially when coupled with shots the aformentioned rat and maagie thatcher.

Yeah.. there's no forgetting that image! I think that is the last image of the opening sequence isn't it? How could I forget Maggie!

Just dug up this old thread because it's a safe haven where you can spoiler yourself silly! Plus, I didn't want to start a new thread about the following small observation:
There's a really nice touch in the scene where Combo and his 'troops' start spraying the underpass with graffiti. Shaun asks "What should I write?" Combo "Just write anything you like" ..and as Combo and the 'troops' start spraying their racist abuse, we see Shaun spraying "Shaun" on the wall.
I really like that moment. Captures the misguided innocence of Shaun.

It may sound odd but one totally pointless scene that i loved is one of i think shauns house and it is shot from the ground showing the side of his house all pebble ashed and the sun is shining on it and we can see the shadow of a tree.
No idea why apart from the beauty of it but i remember it sticking out in the cinema.

If we're talking favourite shots as well, one of my faves was the shot of the tree, and its shadow on a house, and then the sunlight gets lower and theres less of a shadow, looks beautiful anyone know the shot i'm on about? I think its somewhere in the montage where shaun washes a car, and rides his bike and stuff.
