There are good and bad points to every film, even the best. But why does it feel like cheating on your girlfriend if you mention bad points of TIE? What, you mean immensely satusfying! ;D

I LIKED PEE WEE HERMAN AS A KID HIS LAUGH IS AWESOME HHAAAA HAAA! LOL AND YOU ALL KNOW U WANTED THAT BIG RED BIKE GADGE! Pee Wee's Big Adventure! I really rate that film! Tim Burton's first film too. Who can forget 'Large Marge'? errrr... well maybe everyone except me! I'm not sure what all the fuss surrounding Paul Reubens was about. So he was caught having a toss in a cinema.... there's plenty worse things he could have been doing. It's more just plain embarrassing! Maybe I've never heard the full story. I guess it's the combination of him doing that, and the fact that his job was as a kids entertainer.

... Maybe it was pee wee that did it in the boiler room with sausage face. Who knows?? Im sure winkleman does! He's very clever you know everyone. Who did it.... ?.. Ill tell you who did it..... It was that frikkin Simon Cowell, oh sorry Simon Coward! The backstabbin, coniving, sick son of a b----. I hate him after tonite and will never watch X factor again! Robert has soul, i know he maybe wasn't the winner but he was the best in my eyes! Many eyes thought different though, eh? Maybe a lesson!!!!! Choices... we have them. HOW DARE THEY DO THAT! Cheeky.... Its life i suppose, nothing is fair and nothing is perfect! ps.... Remember our little chat Gadge - well done mate! well done! pps.... I love the little saying in the bottom of yr section. Me no like egg on it! x

Yeah, I was actually hoping at the end when Shaun went out that we would see the reappearance of Woody, Kezz, Gadge and the gang... I like the ending as it is, but as I've said, I am a big fan of the original gang. I missed this. SPOILER!!!! Just because you are a fan of the original gang is no reason for them to appear at the end. I'm a fan of the original gang but that scene belonged to Shaun and I cant imagine it any other way. If you think back at the last time you saw each character... in my eyes, thats how they should last be seen. I also feel the last scene lets you reflect on everything that happened before, making it really emotional (I beleive Ryd and Missdonk cried? good on you) and your pretty much thinking what Shaun is thinking. Works perfectly.

Heres a little fact for you Gadge ... that saying I believe was coined by Alan Parker director of Angelas Ashes and Bugsy Malone.
It appears as a cartoon in his book "will write and direct for food"

Haha, no if I'm honest the ending it has now probably works the best..

I honestly had no problem with the film what-so-ever. The accents were obviously different to my trained ears but because the towns location was never mentioned it was not a problem. I think I heard someone describe it as Nottingham by the sea,
Anyway my point is, growing up in the midlands I was constantly bombarded by new accents that were out of place with the area. People coming from oop North and daan saaf. I went to school with people from Brum, Leeds, China!...all over the shop. We never questioned it 'cos we woz kids'.
OK so Perry (London), Woody (Yorkshire) and Combo (Liverpool) were a little bit far off the area but it was never a problem. All being older people they could easily have moved around espacially if they were ex-cons.
The only true criticisim I can draw from the film (really having to dig deep for this) is the parallels between Romeo Brass and TIE. Ladene & Morell/Lol & Combo Rejected love. Romeo & Morell/Combo & Shaun taking under wing. and a few more. But I really didn't see it as a problem just a similarity.
No film is flawless,Some are close, Lots are Shit.
This is IMO close to flawless, All of these criticisms are really just a result of being asked to find fault. I personally think this is one of the most important British films ever made. A true testament of 80's Britiain told through the eyes of a child.

i can't see any faults in the film either.
I didnt even notice the accents thing, and i also don't think it matters, would you rather have a load of actors who all had the same dialect but were worse actors? or even worse have good actors put on a different accent they can't pull off? Both of these would make the film more unrealistic than it is.
The way shane has done it is the best way great actors, who actually look and act like they're all mates. I also agree with morrel's comment about the fact they could have moved around, and how when your at school you get kids from all over the country moving, so really.. its not so weird.
