Watched the Woody/gang showdown again today. It's unreal, there was hardly a punch thrown yet you could cut the tension with a knife!! I say "hardly" coz it looked like Woody connected with the side of milkys head there at one point!!
(can't say the same for smell, looked like she connected a few times beating the head off shaun!!)

on the female lead subject, I haven't seen 'The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo' so no idea what its about but is the girl with the dragon tattoo the lead? EDIT: I ask because I noticed Daniel Craig was the first name and more prominent on the ad I saw I've only seen the original, but yes she is the lead character. It's a sort of mixture of realism and a revenge/thriller-type film, so even as there is actually a common theme, it is not comparable to Lol/TIE. Daniel Craig does seem to be foregrounded in the re-make. I suspect the story will have been changed a fair bit. If you are planning to see it, it's probably a good idea to see the original first.

No, not a big fan either. I've never been a fan of Bond films though and, to be fair, haven't seen him in much else.
It seems the remake of Girl With the Dragon Tattoo is centred on the Craig character (according to Wikipedia anyway). It starts with him, so presumably the audience follows him. Shame. Having said that, the book/film is a trilogy and I've only seen one part of it, so don't really know how 'faithful' the remake is. I'm not too excited to see it though, not if Let Me In provides any clues......making the detective a central part of that remake was a travesty.

It's just that if it is a female lead story the advertisement I saw was well out of order but of the Craig characters the lead I suppose that alright

It's just that if it is a female lead story the advertisement I saw was well out of order .... But you might well be totally right about that. If she has been 'displaced' to make way for the usual hero type. It's just that I'm not sure, because I don't know if this is just a remake of the one film, or is a sort of a condensed version of the trilogy-and that changes things in terns of who takes centre stage. I think Bill's seen all of them, so maybe he'll know.
