After saying I would do so ages ago, I popped a Trailer Park Boys thread on the forum over on Paddy's site.... and what do you know, Mr Considine has replied already and confirmed his fandom!
Not only that.... he says that he does a mean Bubbles! hahahahahaha Imagine that. Too funny. ;D

Not surprised Paddy and Shane are big fans though...kindred spirits...the humour's kind of the same isn't it? Squeezing drop of comedic joy out of the grind of everyday crap......

Ooooo! HMV exclusive time again! Seasons 3+4 box-set! Nice! CLICKY CLICKYOnly slightly odd thing about this though is the site says it is 2 DVDs, but the cover says 4. It has to be 4. Those two seasons have quite a lot of episodes. I need to investigate further.... and also need to find out if the extra features match the Canadian equivalents! Can't wait to get my hands on it. Glad I waited now... looks like it's all coming to region 2 DVD.... even if it is ridiculously slow... and only in HMV. |

Just bought the UK season 3 and 4 set. Looks like it has all the extras... and it is 4 discs, not 2. Stupid HMV. The only place selling the bloody thing and they can't even get their website sorted.

Seems as though the movie has finally made a release outside of Canada. In the USofA. They have a USA tailored trailer... www.apple.com/trailers/independent/trailerparkboys/trailer/From the producer of Animal House and Old School! They have to connect it to something American to give people some frame of reference! haha They also have a USA specific website to help explain things to newcomers: www.trailerparkboysusa.comI wonder if it will ever make it to the UK. I'd go to the cinema to see it even though I've had the DVD for about a year now. ;D |

Ooh an excuse to bump this thread for quite possibly the last time (unless that promised special materialises). It seems season 7 is out on DVD on May 6 (amazon.com). For old times sake (and as a belated personal reply to Large  ) Who is this park, or even in the whole world, doesn't have problems? Who doesn't have a drink too many times once in a while and maybe even winds up passed out in their own driveway, pissing themselves? Who doesn't drink too much sometimes or who doesn't have a puff from time to time? And who doesn't have problems with the people they love? This is our home. This is our community. I wonder what happened to Dokdrain? |

Ah.. the TPB thread is back! As HMV keep trickling out the region 2 version of the TPB DVDs I keep waiting. Hopefully they keep them coming. If HMV's past releases are anything to go by, the next release should be a season 5 and season 6 box set. I have my suspect copies while I wait! |

The long promised special is supposed to air soon...though conflicting reports as to when exactly...Thanksgiving Day was the last I heard (which is just before Xmas, I think)

This is no big surprise, but the end is now official From Mike Clattenburg: Over the past few months there has been a lot of discussion among our fans and those in the media about the future of Trailer Park Boys. Will there be another season, another special, another movie? The last thing we want to do is keep our loyal fans in the dark about the show we have all loved doing for the past eight years, so we’d like now to shed some light. We have a final one hour television special, “Say Goodnight To The Bad Guys”, which goes to air on Showcase on Sunday, December 7, 2008. Then after that, our sequel movie, “Countdown To Liqour Day” (working title), is due to be released in Canadian theatres in October, 2009. But, after that, there will be no more. Yes, it’s the end of Trailer Park Boys. Our fans have been so supportive and inspiring, particularly all of you at the org, that we wanted you to be the first to know.
