Only found out recently that they are shooting a third Trailer Park Boys film as we speak! I will always look forward to some more TPBs, but I didn't really like the Countdown to Liqour Day... although maybe I'll give it another shot. Haven't seen it in ages!
I've just started watching them all from the beginning again! Season 2 really is the point at which it leaps from being really good, to being pretty sublime! Just into the first few episodes of season 2 at the moment. haha Sam Losco and his mushroom tainted speech to become trailer park supervisor! Last episode I watched was the heart-breaking burning of Bubbles' shed and bubble blower! So weird that Ellen Paige is in season 2 as Mr Lahey's daughter!
Oh.. just about half an hour ago, Mike Clattenburg tweeted that actor Richard Collins has just died. He played Phil Collins on the show. "Off the burgers!?!? That's crazy talk!" RIP the Mustard Tiger.

Season 2 is probably my favourite overall, but 3-6 is pretty good (couple of all time favourites in S4), plus first film had it's moments. Should have stopped there though I'll wait until I read your review Dave, then decide whether or not to watch it. Did you get around to seeing Moving Day? Sad news about Mustard Tiger

So, season 8 of Trailer Park Boys is on the way.... but I don't like the sound of it. Season 7 wasn't too hot.. it had it's moments, but it definitely felt like it was running out of steam.
Now season 8 is on the horizon and I only just found out that it seems the three main actors who play Ricky, Bubbles and Julian have bought the rights to the show from the creators, Mike Clattenburg , Michael Volpe and Barrie Dunn.
Sounds like a bad move.... but I'm still hopeful. Looks like the episodes will be released online with a simultaneous, worldwide release schedule.

Good to see that this thread is still going. I watched through seasons 1-6 again a few months ago. Good fun. I have seen season 7 but have yet to import the DVD.
I'll give the new film and series a go, but I hope they have most of the main cast in the new series. I hope Corey and Trevor make a return.

What did you think of season 7 Phil? Thought it was disappointing and I am pretty sure this is why Clatenburg decided to call time on TPB. Clatenburg is no longer involved. I think the cast have taken over the 'franchise' so to speak. I doubt Corey and Trevor will come back-seems to have been a bitter departure I'll watch the new episodes (or the first couple at least), but my expectation aren't high

I've only watched season 7 once and felt it wasn't as good as the previous few seasons. From memory, it seemed like a TV movie chopped up into ten episodes. Say Goodnight to the Bad Guys was better, but still not as good as earlier episodes. I cannot remember much at all of the second film, which probably speaks volumes. Wikipedia claims that Cory (all this time I've been spelling it incorrectly?) is back for the new season. No Trevor, but it seems all the main characters are back and Cyprus. It could be okay.

Yeah, I definitely saw an on-set video which featured Cory.
