The Guard
Written and directed by John Michael McDonagh. He's the brother of Martin McDonagh who wrote and directed In Bruges. I think they are both more famed as playwrights at the moment.
The trailer looks great. A similar sensibility to In Bruges it seems, which is a sure fire win for me!
It's got Brendan Gleeson in it too (like In Bruges), but unlike In Bruges, he becomes one half of a cop duo with Don Cheadle!

Weird! But still keen for more. Just one director now. Still one of the original guys though at least! [REC]4 Apocalypse is also on the way!

Oooo! A [REC]3 Genesis teaser trailer! Nice idea for a trailer. Big change to the location of films (although I think this is a prequel going by the title). Could be good. A refreshing change is probably what the films need.

Big Star: Nothing Can Hurt Me -- www.imdb.com/title/tt2290151/A 90-minute "work-in-progress" cut just played at the South by Southwest Festival in Austin, Texas; but I would love to see the finished product eventually -- I love this band. ;D

Looks good. I saw "Three Monkeys" www.imdb.com/title/tt1233381/ by the same director a few years ago. Pretty much blew me away, so I'm excited for this one.

Prometheus - Anyone else annoyed by Sean Harris's appearance and voice in the new trailer? I already get that he is the angry question everything guy with the shaved head beard and face tats guy who dies early guy. For some reason I got so annoyed.
Anyway, the trailer still looks great in that it looks like the poor people are gunna have a hard time its almost embarassing and thats what you want from an alien prequel, and the music!

Anyway, the trailer still looks great in that it looks like the poor people are gunna have a hard time its almost embarassing and thats what you want from an alien prequel, and the music! Agree on both your points. For some reason I've never liked Sean Harris, mostly because he seems a bit of a knob.... the only evidence I think I have of this is the behind-the-scenes extras on rubbish British horror film Creep. Prometheus trailer does look really good... plus bonus of all bonuses, Benedict Wong is in it! This alone doubles the amount I want to see the film.. he's a quality item, but woefully under-used in the industry. He only gets about 0.5 seconds of time in the trailer too! Hope he has a reasonable part in it. When I met up with Shane last week, I actually tried to point Shane in Mr Wong's direction to see what he thinks of his acting chops! haha Would bloody love to see Benedict Wong in a Meadows production. I wonder if he'll have a similar part to the one he played in Danny Boyle's Sunshine?

Someone has decided that making a new Garbage Pail Kids film is a good idea! Bloody heck! Talk about out of ideas.
If you don't remember the Garbage Pail Kids, they were basically a series of trading cards which were a gross-out parody of Cabbage Patch Kids dolls. There was an 80s Garbage Pail movie which is pretty shockingly bad... not to mention unintentionally disturbing. Trailer evidence:

Never seen or heard of it, but from that trailer, if THAT had been made today I think it'd be refreshing!

Never seen or heard of it, but from that trailer, if THAT had been made today I think it'd be refreshing! People in suits would be great rather than filthy CGI crap. I guess you're way too young Hyde to remember the Garbage Pail Kids bubble gum cards. I started collecting the first series of the cards when I was in the early stages of junior school I think. Great artwork, although I can't help but think that some of the cards wouldn't be released today:

Titanic 3D. Bollocks to that old tat!
But Titanic SUPER 3D on the other hand! Excellent! I'd watch it! Featuring further improvements from George Lucas, JJ Abrams, and Michael Bay! Win, win, win!
But do definitely forget the filth of Titanic, especially in 3D, and check out A Night To Remember which has just been re-released on DVD and has its first Blu-ray release! 100% about the Titanic, with none of the added Hollywood bollocks!
